i want to go outside to play, NOW!

when i want to go out and play, i will come to my mom (who always seems to be in her office at her computer). sometimes she ignores me. i will not be ignored.

i gently chew on the side of her desk or chair arm to get her attention. i look right at her while doing it, so it's not like i don't WANT to get caught. if that doesn't work...i result to chewing on... well ... you'll see.....

    Hee hee hee,

you're certainly persistent, Ranger, and the ole groaning whine is a great way of getting the human sympathy vote.

    Well done. You're learning fabulously!

    Chow for now,

You are just the sweetest angel! It seems like you realize getting Mom to play can be a form of play itself! Well done - I'm sending some psychic petting your way.

    Ranger,

What a guy! We understood exactly what you wanted. What was wrong with your Mom? Hopefully she will listen to you next time.

You are very obedient. When mom said "leave it," you stopped immediately. Good dog!

I could hear you distinctly say OUT. Is your mother hearing impaired?
