things went great at class last night. some other trainers took my leash and fed me lots and lots of string cheese. all i had to do was walk around with them. mom was right there and looked happy, so i didn't mind. they said so many nice things about me! i love those humans.
later in the evening we did an exercise where i sat on one end of the ring and my mom went to the other end. then she called me to come to her! well i got confused!!!! i figured she wanted me to stay cause that is what we always do. made me so nervous that i decided to bark and bark at her, "YOU'LL GET MAD IF I COME!!!" then all the other dogs in the class barked and it was dogs gone wild!!! finally i went to mom, and she was still happy with me and even gave me a treat. whew, i'm glad i didn't get in trouble.
i was tired after that.

ReplyDeleteIt's those humans You already have experience.Behavior is reward driven. Dogs do what works. If lying on their backs, sneezing and wagging their tails while in the bathtub got them reinforced, they would do it!Hang in there buddy ,Keep up the good work!!woof-woof
