tortured by sheets

mom does this crazy thing once a week. she likes to take everything off her bed and throw it on the floor. pretty weird considering i watch her everyday make the bed look pretty and she never, EVER invites ME to sleep on it with her.

hmph.

i digress. so, once a week, she throws these wonderful pieces of material on the floor. they smell like my mom and dad. i just love them. so of course, i wallor in them.

hmmmmmm.

smells wonderful.

once in awhile, my mom thinks its funny to throw the big sheets on TOP of me. i don't mind it but this one time, i couldn't get out of it. i fought and fought but it kept getting more tangled up!

it really gets caught on my head here...

mom, of course, thought this was all hysterical. she may need a good biting for this.

You are so lucky Ranger, getting to lay in the sheets. If I tried that I would be the recipient of a hissy fit - hair everywhere, mum would say :-)

I love to play in the sheets! In fact, I am a bed wrecker - which is why I am now back to sleeping in my kennel. I like to burrow under the covers - but they often get caught on my curly tail and I end up taking all the covers off my humans!

Mum has given me my own sheets but I still like to jump on theirs whenever possible. What's a dog to do but obey his instincts?

Ari loves sheets on the floor so much she once shredded our comforter in her writhing ecstacy. Her cat friends prefer warm sheets just out of the dryer. That doesn't make much sense to a dog. Who likes the smell of detergent?

This is an awesome post. Not only do I love chocolate labs, but this is one showing lab stuff at its finest.

Nothing better than a big smile over the look on that curious dog face!

I didn't do anything! Or did I? Oh well. Wag. Wag.

    Nice post!

Cute! My dog can't wait until laundry day. He starts to bark every Saturday morning when I go into the bedroom to do my weekly chores, and it makes me laugh every single time!

Our dogs love the sheets too, but they get in trouble for being on them! But, oh they LOVE them! :)

Hi Ranger! I was looking around for sites featuring sympatico dogs and I found yours! I love the sheet photos. You look like so much fun. I wish we could get together and play, but I live in France! I'm an English Springer Spaniel and I'm 10 months old. I share a blog with my big brother, Sen-Chan, who is an Abyssinian cat.
